Originally a contractor had proposed a gypsum ceiling, suspended a few cm from the concrete, but because of possible future leaks/drips, I was reluctant to do that. I'm on the top floor of my condo building, and it's not totally out of the realm of possibility that future cracks may need patching, I guess.
